It may be seen that these two have not been having good relations from the past as his father reacts furiously. This scene simply shows us there is a breakdown of communication or simply relationship deterioration. This concept of deterioration of relationships is perfectly incorporated in the movie. As seen from the above scene its applicability is good and it follows the same trend in the rest of the movie.
